Missions To Belize is a missionary endeavor of Cornelius' House Ministries, a lay
Charismatic Catholic Ministry which began in 1986 under the direction of Dr. Dennis
and Janet Holt. Our Vision within every aspect of our ministry is dedicated to bringing
the Kingdom of God to this earth. Because it is the Holy Spirit's mission too, we believe
that the mission statement is best offered by Jesus in Luke 4:18.
The first part of this mission statement says, "to bring the gospel to the poor." The
poor cannot know the Gospel of Jesus Christ unless the people who profess Jesus as
Lord reveal that Gospel to them. We cannot sit in the pew and expect the Kingdom of
God to manifest on this earth. In some way, every person who professes Christ as Lord
is obligated to assist the mission of the Holy Spirit. We are very serious about our
Missions To Belize endeavor and we hope that others will understand our Vision and
want to assist us in some way, either by donating to the missions, becoming a partner,
holding a book drive, or volunteering for one of our mission trips. .
It is amazing how exhilarating life can be when we get out beyond our own self and
begin to assist other people. The Kingdom of God functions through a principle of
giving. God revealed this principle when He gave His only Son to set us free from sin,
the flesh nature, Satan's influence and his worldly system. If we want the Kingdom of
God to come; we have to make it happen by giving of ourselves to those who do not
know the way or have the freedom to seek the way.

Dr. Drew Dawson and his wife, Denise, are in charge of the medical division of Missions to Belize. They have
their own outreach called First Response Physicians or FRP. Dr. Drew was very instrumental in helping a lot
of folks immediately following the Katrina Hurricane in Louisiana. Together they served many in the post
Katrina recovery in the Bay St. Louis area. Denise is Dr. Holt's daughter.
